  • You must be between 3 years to above 80 years old as long as you can understand what to say and record effectively as expected of you. The ones in both extremes (very young and very old) may be assisted by family members but the final voice product is required of the registered artist (see more under Section 2.2 below).
  • You can speak English effectively even if with local accents.
  • You have some natural acting skills especially through the voice.

1.2 Registration

The only link to register and be a part of our group is from the central recruitment agency of our parent body (BusyBissy Media Productions). This central agency is the human resource team for the three subsidiaries of BusyBissy Media Productions to which we (The BusyBissy Arts Theatre House) are one. This central agency is the BusyBissy Crew-signup Hub and can be found at https://crewsignup.busybissy.com . Every instance of registration to join our playhouse must connect through this website. Afterwards, the continual registration process is handled by us, supervised by our parent body.

1.2.1 Application Forms.

There would be two forms to fill. The first - (BATHVoices Membership Form A) includes all expected registration details and payment and the second - (BATHVoices Membership Form B) addresses more in-depth details that helps both parties to start and progress smoothly.

1.2.2 Uploads.

Applying artists will need to upload during the course of Registration the following documents: proof of nationality, one to two minutes audio recording of past voice acting where applicable and pictures including a front faced passport picture. There would also be a need to record a small audition script included in one of the registration forms.

1.2.3 Payment.

There is a highly subsidized, non refundable registration fee to be paid differentiated by nationality. In appreciation for Nigeria as our country of birth, we offer our sign up fee lesser for Nigerians than for non Nigerians. Nigerians are all citizens of Nigeria either by birth, marriage or other legal means of nationality by the Federal Government of Nigeria, who may be resident in Nigeria or not. Foreigners are everyone else.
Nigerians will pay one thousand and four hundred naira only (N1,400) and foreigners will pay the equivalent of four US dollars ($4) in naira which is estimated at N390/dollar exchange rates. The rate may be higher or lower at the time of your payment but for uniformity, we will stick with this rate.. Still, the final payment amount for either category may be higher as it is inclusive of payment gateway and other processing fees.

1.3 The Product.

The product that we sell herein is the ability to join our voice artist team and earn experience, income and knowledge from the exposures that we would offer. All acts within voice acting such as acting, singing, humming and other creative use of the voice are embodied within this product. We also consider abilities in writing stories, scripting, directing and such related to the production of audio acting as byproducts of the main product and members can earn from same.

2.0 Member Activities

All registered and accepted members are treated equally irrespective of race, age or class.

2.1 The Job

There would be an intensive training and clarification during the inauguration gathering (online). Subsequently, mini training may be given per production requirement.
Our members are the first call for all voice acting needs and jobs, either internally or otherwise.
Members will need access to a mobile phone or computer that is internet and audio enabled to be able to interact with us from anywhere in the world as well as record their voices for production uses.
There would be forums for artists interactions to ease the work flow and professional delivery of services where required.
Aside from any other benefit attached to productions, participating artists in each production will be properly credited.

2.2 Member Types

We classify our members into two categories to allow for the support of supervisors in our scheme.
These are: (1) RAC group and (2) EAC group.

(1).The RAC i.e the Regular Age Cluster group, envelopes all registered voice artists that are between the ages of 16 to 69 years old. This cluster will handle their affairs by themselves, except on special occasions approved by us.
(2). The EAC i.e the Extreme Age Cluster group, envelopes all registered young voice artists that are three (3) to fifteen (15) years old and senior voice artists that are seventy (70) to hundred (100) years old. This cluster is expected to submit a supervisor to support them.

2.2.1 Supervisors
Supervisors are needed for the EAC group and there can only be one acceptable person per artist. Such a person may be changed with proper documentation to another when required. The supervisor is expected to help the intending and/or registered artist in the fulfillment of their duties as a BATHVoices team member.
These duties includes among others; filling of their registration forms, understanding and explaining the content of this terms and conditions document, our privacy policy and disclaimer. Also includes guidance in project fulfillment such as voice rehearsals, script interpretation and our downloads, voice recording and their uploads, income collection and other such duties that the artist in the EAC group may not be able to carry out by themselves effectively due to natural limitations.

2.2.1.1 Special Cases
An artist in the RAC group may be allowed a supervisor if requested and we approve it. Also an artist from the EAC group may be exempted from using a supervisor if requested and we approve it. For both cases, do send an email to us.

2.3 Production Types

Our target duties is to (1) self (The BATHouse) productions (2) BusyBissy Animation Studios productions (3) BusyBissy Media Production brands and (4) the general market (public).
Irrespective of the nature of a production, it would always be either income generating or not.
This directly affects participating artists as income generating productions will attract income and non income generating productions will not attract income. However, there are in-between cases of productions that do not generate immediate revenue or is generated repeated in small volumes; in such cases, decisions are arrived at by management per such cases whether artists will be paid off one time or placed on recurring revenue from continual sales for a period. Such periods may not exceed one year from its production.

2.4 Remuneration

Our artists earn wages on voice acting done for paid products but get points for voice acting done for free products. These points accumulate as criteria for paying jobs. More details about specific wage systems, payments and point generation are shared with members during the initial training as indicated under 'The Job' sub section above.
Our scheme is made in such away that every effort with us earns the artist some value always. So no voicing is wasted.

2.5 Solidarity.

Members are expected to help us grow as we seek to add value to them too. We therefore, expect that members would identify with us on all social media and efforts, share our contents, promote it and participate in numerous creative activities we spring up to increase our impact in the global market either directly linked to voice acting or not. This solidarity will be extended to our parent body and co-subsidiaries as they will to us.
Members are expected to produce their jobs with utmost excellence and in respect of deadlines and instructions.
We, among other ways are willing to endorse our members too in their personal career efforts that involves what they do for us.

2.6 Withdrawal.

Either party can choose to withdraw from this partnership with a minimum of 14 days notice by email during which period duties are carried out normally till properly exited; provided that there are no ongoing productions which the concerned artist had already began. In such a case, the production must be finished before the 14 day count starts. There would be a withdrawal form that is an obligation to be filled by the leaving member (who is asking to withdraw) within this period which if unfilled, forfeits all future benefits such as recommendations, acknowledgement, affiliations, contract jobs etc.
